We are grid feeding our excess solar and wind power.

Also generating enough power to offset all electric usage of our 3 phase 15 HP Wood-Mizer sawmill. If we kiln dry lumber in our 3,000 bdft NYLE kiln, running one week in two separate electric billing cycles, we can usually dry lumber without any electric cost for air dry to 8% kiln dry in two weeks kiln run. The utility billing cycle runs from the 18th to the 18th, so we start the kiln on the 11th and run it two weeks so the utility billing cycle bills half the run on two separate months. We end up with a kiln load of dry lumber at ZERO COST for electricity. A $90 savings. In the middle of summer that extra power goes to making cold dry air instead of hot dry air.
